The Wang & Tangang Foundation (“the Foundation”) is committed to safeguarding the dignity, rights, and well-being of all individuals we work with, including children, youth, vulnerable adults, beneficiaries, staff, volunteers, partners, and community members. This policy outlines our safeguarding commitments and ethical standards.


1. Safeguarding Commitment

The Foundation has zero tolerance for abuse, exploitation, harassment, or harm of any kind. We are committed to preventing and responding to all forms of abuse, including:

  • Sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA)

  • Harassment, discrimination, or bullying

2. Who This Policy Applies To

All individuals associated with the Foundation are expected to comply with this policy.


3. Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults

We prioritize the protection of:

The Foundation commits to:

  • Vetting and screening where appropriate
  • Clear codes of conduct and reporting channels
  • Risk assessments for programs and activities

6. Reporting and Responding to Concerns

Any safeguarding or ethical concern should be reported immediately.

Reports can be made:

  • Directly to Foundation leadership
  • Via confidential communication channels
  • Without fear of retaliation

All reports will be handled confidentially and taken seriously.


7. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Safeguarding information will be handled sensitively and shared only on a need-to-know basis, in accordance with data protection principles.


8. Disciplinary Action

Breaches of this policy may result in:

  • Referral to relevant authorities where necessary
